My Room is a feature that lets you lay rugs on the floor of any room photo, underneath the furniture.
1. Take a photo (Shortcut : C)
Use the Camera button to take a photo or upload an image :
Make sure your room images are at least 1000 pixels in width or height for decent results.
Our AI will work its magic to separate the floor and the furniture on your image and lay the rug on the floor.
2. Adjusting the rug (Shortcut : A)
You can click and drag the rug around, on the floor :
Dragging over the ellipse shown on the rug will rotate the rug around its center, you can also use the quick tools on the bottom left :
Make the rug larger or smaller using the buttons on the bottom left quick tools:
3. Manual Adjustments
Choose the 'Mark Floor or Furniture' tool (Shortcut : D)
If the rug overlaps a part of the furniture or object in your room, mark the furniture with green dots.
If the rug does not show on a part of the floor, mark the floor red where carpet should be shown.
Adjusting floor perspective (Shortcut : S)
My Room AI calculates an imaginary 3D floor to be as close to the floor on the image uploaded. You can make adjustments to it by using the Adjust floor tool:
You can adjust the height of the floor by clicking the increase or decrease height buttons.
You can tilt the floor angle using the Eye buttons in the quick tools. Or you can click on the rug and drag up or down.
Downloading image
Save a single image as seen inside My Room
Save the room if you would like to view other rugs in the same room.
For Galaincha:
Go to CarpeTools->RoomView to view other rugs in the saved room.
For exploRUG
exploRUG users can select the room and lay different carpets on it.
Resetting changes
You can reset all changes and start over again by clicking the reset button at the bottom right.
Additional shortcuts
You can use the keys 1,2,3,4... and so on to quickly access options on the bottom left for the selected tool.
Use the Cursor keys Up, Down, Left and Right when the Adjust Rug (Shortcut : A) is active to move the rug around the room floor. '+' or '-' keys can be used to make the rug larger or smaller.
