Using exploRUG (V3) Admin Tools

Admin Tools in exploRUG consist of the features as shown in the image below:

1. Clear Cache

Once changes have been made in the design including customization of colors, materials and pile heights, 'Clear Cache' needs to be done so that latest customizations are visible in the design.

2. Add to Favorites

Clicking on 'Add to Favorites' adds the current view of design in favorites list. The list of favorites can be viewed under 'Favorites' tab.

3. Save Design

'Save this image' will download the currently viewed design in .jpg format.

'Download CTF' will download .CTF format of design, which can be opened in Galaincha.

4. RUGShare: Publish for online sharing

RUGShare allows you to share your rug designs in different social networks and customize them online (only available in Studio version).

5. Quick Share

Quick Share allows to share the current state of design or room view (only available in Studio version). Clicking on the 'Quick Share' button generates a link that can be copied to clipboard and quickly shared via messaging apps. For social media posts with image previews, please use RUGShare.

6. File Manager

File Manager lets you upload new designs, organize them into folders or delete them. Detailed information about File Manager is in this link.

 

7. Design Variations

This area will show the variations of chosen design (if available) including colors, shapes and sizes variations. Select any design for preview.

8. Map Colors

Maps all the design colors to the closest colors in the active color set (in the Available Colors tab)

9. Color Customization

Autocolor: Creates different color variations of the design on each click.

Undo: It will undo the previous action of color customization

Reset: It will reset the design to original colors

Carving: It will carve the design around all colors  

10. Save on Server

Saves changes with all the customization of colors, textures and pile height permanently on the server.

Need to click on CLEAR CACHE after every save action in order to make all the latest customization visible.
