Steps to create a custom gradient that transitions directly from the 1st color to the 2nd, and then to the 3rd color using Galaincha’s Gradient Tool:
Steps to Create a Custom 3-Color Gradient:
Select the Area
Choose the section of the canvas or design area where you want to apply the custom gradient. (In this example, we’ll apply the gradient from top to bottom across the entire canvas. Hence we'll select top half for the first gradient.)
2. Choose Your Colors
- Select your Primary Color (Top color).
- Select your Secondary Color (This will act as the middle/transition color).
3. Apply the First Gradient
- Go to CarpeTools >> Create >> Gradient.
- Select the most appropriate gradient option and click OK.
- This will apply a gradient from the Primary to the Secondary color on the selected area.
4. Apply the Second Gradient
- Now, select the Secondary Color as the new Primary, and choose your Third Color as the new Secondary.
- Select the remaining area of the canvas (e.g., the bottom half).
- Repeat the gradient process: CarpeTools > Create > Gradient, and click OK.
Your final output would look like this.
