Adding Custom Texture to Galaincha

You can add your own custom texture in Galaincha. To do so, you need to provide us a good resolution textured image with proper lighting.

Requirement details for the texture image are as follows:

1. Image Size: Recommended image size: 3600 pixels x 3600 pixels

2. Photograph Area: Taken photo should cover 2 sq. ft. area of the actual carpet. 

3. Lighting on carpet: Ensure the photographed area of the carpet is evenly lit.

4. Photographic Angle : Photo must be taken from an upright angle. 

5. Solid Grey Color Texture: The sample carpet should be in plain grey color. Avoid designed or multi-colored carpet.

In short 

• The image should be single colored and upright carpet picture.
• The carpet area must be seen about 2ft x 2ft.
• Image Size: 3600px X 3600px or more.

Based on this image, we will create texture file for you. You need to copy this file to My Documents\Galaincha\Textures. Now, in the ‘Visualization’ dialog in Galaincha, select the texture from the list of textures under Custom. This will apply the texture to your design.
