Convert an artwork into a design using simple Art to Graph process

To convert an artwork into a carpet design using Art to Graph, follow these simple steps:

• Open the artwork in Galaincha and resize it as needed. To do so, go to Image >> Resize and set the resolution and size of the carpet.
  

• Go to CarpeTools >> Clean >> Art to Graph. Pick the colors used in design manually and try to get the similar extraction of the original artwork.
  
  Manual Color Selection:  Pick colors by simply clicking on the image; Right click to view the entire image while picking the colors.
  
  Or pick the colors used in design automatically by setting the number of colors as needed and click on “Automatic”.
  
  Automatic Color Selection: Specify the number of colors to retain the detail of the design. (For above design, specify 10 colors) then click on the Automatic button.

Note: Art to Graph tool is highly effective to process abstract images, images that have contrast colors and which do not require precise tracing.

• Once the result seems fine, click on “Export” and close the Art to Graph window.

• Now perform some cleaning process to get the refined graph. (CarpeTools >> Clean >> Clean Layer)
