Adding Design to Grunge Areas

• Open the design in Galaincha.
• Add a new layer.

• Select two different colors as primary and secondary colors.
• Go to CarpeTools >> Create >> Contour.
• Adjust the Scale and Roughness settings, and then set the Steps value to 2.

       

• Next, remove one of the colors and use the Magic Wand tool to select the remaining color patches.
• Now select the layer below that contains the main design.

           

• Copy it (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) it onto Layer 2.

Note: Here, there's no need to make the main design layer visible until a different color has been assigned.

• Now assign different colors to the design.

       

• Once the new color is assigned, make the background layer visible to see the final result.
