Creating Dripping Effect From an Existing Design

Steps:

Open a design in Galaincha.

Select the background color and add a new layer.

Now select the rectangle tool and create a rectangle covering bottom half of a canvas.

           

Go to CarpeTools >> Modify >> Interlace Edges

In the Interlace Edges dialog box, set the Amount value to 570, Thickness value to 2 and Set the Direction option to Vertical.

(Note: Values can be modified as per your need)

  

Select the rectangle selection tool to select the unwanted vertical edges at the top and delete it.

Make the bottom layer invisible.

Select the top layer, select the Move Selected Pixels Tool and stretch it from the bottom of the layer so that the empty area will remain at the bottom of the layer.

           

Once the dripping effect has been created, make all the layers visible.

           

The result is as shown above.
